Smart Choices

In a time when our young children are tempted and getting addicted to recreational drugs, based on our responsibility to God and our communities, Transformers along with Power Vision is leading an initiative called Smart Choices. In response to this, we have led educational and awareness sessions in elementary, intermediate, high school, and higher secondary schools in most districts of Kerala. A brief overview: These sessions are an hour long in duration. In these sessions, we teach age-appropriate songs against drug abuse. Along with that we also lead educational and interactive classes on being aware of our surroundings and, the signs and symptoms of being under the influence of these anti-social elements. We also provide each participant a booklet with the same information that was presented to them during that hour. We end each session asking everyone to pledge themselves to be vigilant of these recreational drugs. 

We are still doing these awareness sessions in different cities of Kerala. If you would like to participate or be a speaker and you have an MSW, work as a counselor, or work as a teacher we would like to partner with you.
